Eight.ly Standard (retired)

Eight.ly Standard — the Docker-container-only edition, sold separately at $19/yr or $49 lifetime — is retired. It is not sold anymore. Eight.ly now ships as one product, Eight.ly OS, installed by booting an image on bare metal or in a VM.

If you already run Eight.ly Standard

Nothing changes for your install today: it keeps running, keeps every feature it has, and keeps receiving security fixes.

There is no published step-by-step path from a Docker-container install to the Eight.ly OS boot image — that's an open question, not something being withheld. Eight.ly does have a configuration export/import feature (Settings > Backup > Export configuration) that can carry users, API keys, and settings to a fresh install, but it isn't published as an edition-migration guide. Ask on Discord or contact support before relying on it for a move to Eight.ly OS.

If you just want a free Docker app catalog

HomelabARR CE is the free, open-source Docker project that Eight.ly's app catalog comes from — it's the free option today for people who only want Docker, not a retired Eight.ly edition.
