Themes¶
Eight.ly OS ships with 13 themes and a Theme Marketplace for previewing and applying them. Every theme includes its own typography and a complete color system — no partial theming or mismatched elements.
Where to find it: Settings > Appearance, or the Theme Marketplace

| Cyberpunk | Neon accents |
| Nord | The Nord color scheme |
| Dracula | The Dracula color scheme |
Eight.ly Light and Eight.ly Dark are the two brand themes; the Theme step in the setup wizard opens with one already selected and applies whichever you pick immediately.
Each theme sets:
- Background and surface colors
- Accent and highlight colors
- Text colors and contrast levels
- Sidebar styling
- Its own typography (header + body fonts)
Theme Marketplace¶
The Theme Marketplace shows a live preview of each theme before you apply it:
- Open Settings > Appearance or navigate to the Theme Marketplace
- Browse the 13 available themes, or filter by Dark / Light / High Contrast, or search by name
- Hover or click to see a live preview
- Click Apply to switch
The theme applies instantly — no page reload needed.
Technical details¶
- All UI colors use CSS custom properties from the theme system — no hardcoded colors
- Theme preference is stored per-user
